The Capstone of Farrell's "Cosmic War" Research
By ratbatblue
Disclosure: This review has no accompanying "verified purchase" stamp because I purchased this book via the author's website. Note: the direct-from-publisher price, at the time I write this review, is fifteen dollars.

This book is a slim volume with a lot to say. It does stand alone, but I believe the reader would be better served by first reading Farrell's "Cosmic War" series; at the least, the entry titled "Genes, Giants, Monsters, and Men." The Cosmic War books are a set-up for this profound analysis of what the authors dub "Yahwism," which I might describe in my own words as, the monotheistic world religions & their apocalyptic tenets, AND their effect on human history and development. The stunning conclusion to be reached after reading Farrell (and occasional co-author deHart)'s impeccable and painstaking research is: Yahweh is a fraud, and the worship of said fraud is a dead end for humanity.

Authors Farrell and deHart begin this book by reviewing the "ancient topological metaphor" which they discussed at length in a previous collaboration, "The Grid of the Gods." The "topological metaphor", the basis of cosmology for the Hindus, Egyptians, and Mayans, is a means of understanding the nature of beginnings without resorting to "faith". The metaphor itself is a bit difficult for this reviewer to grasp, but it addresses the question of, "Why is there not nothing?" and is answered by the authors thus: "....let us perform a simple 'thought experiment'. Imagine an absolutely undifferentiated 'something'. The Neoplatonists referred to this 'something' as 'simplicity'. Note that, from the physics point of view and from that of Hinduism itself, we are dealing with a 'nothing', since it has no differentiated or distinguishing features whatsoever. Now imagine one 'brackets' this nothing, separating off a 'region' of nothing from the rest of the nothing...At the instant one does so, one ends up with three things, each a kind of 'differentiated nothing'. One ends with: 1) the 'bracketed' region of nothing; 2) the rest of the nothing; and 3) the 'surface' that the two regions share. Note something else. From a purely physics point of view, this occurs without time, since time is measured only by the relative positions of differentiated things with respect to each other. The 'regions of nothing' and their common surface are, so to speak, still eternal, and yet, at the same instant, a kind of 'time' has emerged simultaneously with the operation of differentiating itself....." and so on the authors go, further explaining and developing this metaphor. (While the authors do not mention the holographic theory of reality, which is so eloquently discussed by Michael Talbot in his immortal "The Holographic Universe", I do see how it neatly dovetails with the ancient topological metaphor. And, indeed, Farrell and deHart point out that, no matter how many times the "nothing" is differentiated or "bracketed", each differentiation retains the signature of the undifferentiated "nothing". Those who understand what a hologram is will note the correlation.

After reviewing the metaphor, the authors tackle the subject of "Yahwism," explaining how the biblical god Yahweh threw a monkey wrench into humanity's ancient social order by declaring himself to be the Supreme Being, choosing the Israelites as his favored people, giving them the 10 commandments in which he explicitly forbade murder, but then sanctioning murder as long as it was done in response to Yahweh's command. The authors examine the various apocalyptic dogmas of the three Yahwist religions (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam); they review the Freemason Albert Pike's seemingly prescient 1871 letter describing how three world wars would be fought in order to bring about the dissolution of the monotheistic religions and to establish "Luciferism"; and they touch on Zionism (hoo boy) and its effect on the current world. In this volume, Farrell and deHart limit their discussion to the psycho- and sociological effects of the Yahwist religions; for a stunning examination of who Yahweh might actually BE--other than "the Supreme Being"--I point again to Farrell's jaw-dropping "Genes, Giants, Monsters and Men".

Fear not, pilgrims. While a big sign marked "DEAD END" on a path you've been traveling all of your Western-culture life may produce a jarring amount of cognitive dissonance, there is another way. If you haven't yet, read Talbot's aforementioned book; that is as good a place to start your new path as any. Eat clean, think clean, be clean.

Quite A Revelation!
By Mr. Neil M C Sinclair
Both writers on top form again identifying man's exploitative inhumanity to man as having its roots in the time of the Exodus, the time of the overthrow of mankind's original scientifically based religion [pejoratively referred to as idolatry]. The reference to the First Principle and its first three derivations as the only entities that could genuinely be called God is pure exegetical brilliance! Three cheers for the effort. If only enough of today's society we were willing to return the Topological Metaphor in the Physical Medium and promote a renaissance of the Paleo Ancient Very High Civilization of High Antiquity what a wonderful world this would be. Alas, it is certain that the Neo-Liberal economic system will maintain its grip and drag us down into Dante's Inferno.... Naw, only kidding - the future's got to be better than that!
